Tayo is the main character on the show. He is sky blue, and his birthday is on January 20th, which is why he has 120 as a bus number. Tayo is a happy-go-lucky bus but also very curious, which gets him into trouble sometimes. But with the help of his friends and siblings, Lani, Gani, Rogi, and Peanut, he always learns from his mistakes.
Lani is the youngest of the buses and is Tayo’s little sister. She’s the yellow bus with the number 02. Lani is sweet, kind, and timid. Even though she’s the youngest, she’s always there to help her friends and siblings when they need it.
Gani is one of Tayo’s best friends. He is red and has 1339 as a bus number. Gani is a little shy but hardworking, and he loves to explore. He’s always up for a new challenge and loves to have fun.
Rogi is one of Tayo’s best friends and older brother. He is green with bus number 1000. Rogi is mischievous, dopey, and very silly. Tayo and Rogi occasionally have a spat, but that’s what siblings do! They always make up in the end.
When Tayo and the gang meet Peanut, they know he’s something special, being the only electric bus in the team. He is primarily white with a light blue roof and has 03 for a bus number. Peanut is curious and always full of energy. He loves to learn new things and is always excited about an adventure.
Cito is a red double-decker tour bus who serves as a father-figure for Tayo, Rogi, Lani, Gani, Peanut and Trammy. He and Hana often chastises Tayo and Rogi for driving too rough in the garage.
